Fifth-Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt
MEET PROFESSOR JASON KEATON
Jason Keaton is a 5th-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Master Renato Tavares — and was the first American to earn that distinction. A USA Judo National Champion and professional mixed martial artist, Jason is also the only legally blind fighter to compete professionally in MMA.
With more than two decades of teaching experience, Jason’s mission is simple: to help people improve the quality of their lives through Jiu-Jitsu. His school focuses on encouragement, community, and growth — especially for beginners, kids, and anyone looking to build confidence through the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Known nationwide for his seminars and coaching programs, Jason blends technical precision with a compassionate, student-first approach that inspires people to grow both on and off the mats.
